| Packing and Storage: | Delta T Industrial should be kept in a storage area above 32F (0C). Product can be reused if sealed correctly. It is best to keep the container out of direct sunlight for sustained periods. |

| Surface Preparation: |
For aluminum and stainless surfaces: |
Clean surfaces prior to application of Delta T. Slight sanding or grinding can be used to give product tooth. |
| For Carbon steel surfaces: |
Use primer capable of the highest peak temperature. Zinc and epoxies usually perform best in higher temperatures and industrial type environments. Please contact Mascoat if a primer is needed. Preconstruction primer is sufficient for priming material. |
| |
| Methods of application: |
Spraying: |
Use airless spray methods as defined by recommended sprayers.
SA Gun for small applications. Call Advanced Coating Solutions for details. |
| Rolling: |
Use low to medium mat roller. |
| Brushing: |
Use nylon of bristle brush capable of water based coatings. |
| |
| Mixing: |
Delta T Industrial should be mixed prior to application. Use standard mud mixing paddle for stirring. Apply product after mixing. If sustained period are incurred prior to application, remix product. Do not stir longer than 5 minutes. Do not use paint shakers. |
| Application: |
Delta T should be applied in coat thickness not to exceed 25 mils wet. It is best to use a "pass" method of spraying to cover surface correctly and insure best insulating abilities. Tip size is dependent on surface and complexity. Ranges include 219-525. In colder environments, it is best to apply coating a thinner milages (10 mils) to give best drying time results. On applications where surface are hot (above 140F), it is recommend to apply coating in thinner thickness (less than 10 mils). |
| Dry time: |
Less than 2 hours @ 75°F (23°C) 20 mil (0.5mm) thickness. Dry time can be affected by humidity and temperature. In hotter environments coating will dry very quickly. |
| Cure times: |
24 hours |
