Delta T Marine Rolling Application Instructions
Rolling Instructions
Equipment needed:
- Low mat roller or PVC pipe
- Water
- Roller tray or bucket for water
- Drop cloth
- Masking Tape
Directions for Rolling Application:
- Mix product as per regular instructions on pail.
- Put drop cloth and/or tape areas that you desire not to paint.
- Immerse the roller in water. The roller must be extremely saturated in order to release the insulating particles.
- Pour the coating onto the substrate in small pours.
- Remove the roller from the water (if a low mat roller) and roll it into the coating.
- Push the coating across the substrate. Rolling can be successful if you take your time and are methodic in applying the coating.
- If using a PVC roller, push or mop the coating around carefully.
- Clean roller with water.
